COVID-19 Financial Relief Options

We understand. COVID-19 has forever changed your world. Ours too. It’s a scary and stressful time for all of us. So many are out of work right now. Those that are working, are working harder than ever. Thank you to each and every one of you for doing your part to help during this time of crisis. At Tendto, we want to help take some of the financial burden off of you, our members, with our loan deferment option and Mastercard® credit card deferment option & skip-a-pay program.

LOAN DEFERMENT OPTION1

Loan payments for all consumer loans (excluding home loans, student loans and credit cards) will be automatically deferred during April and May of 2020. No late fees will be accessed, but please note, that interest will continue to accrue during this time.

ACTION REQUIRED: If you have your loan setup for automatic transfers or if your loan is paid through payroll deduction, you will need to call and speak with a Tendto team member at 814.455.6400 to have your payments stopped. If your payment is initiated from another financial institution, you will need to contact them and request that the payments not be sent to Tendto.

This is a relief option, members that wish to make their payments during this time period may still do so. Members that take advantage of this loan deferment option, should plan on resuming their normal payment arrangements beginning in June.

If you would like to speak with a team member about deferment options for your home or home equity loan, please call us at 814.455.6400.

1 Finance charges will continue to accrue at the rate provided in your original loan agreement, during and after this time. Deferring your payment will result in your having to pay higher total finance charges than if you made your payment as originally scheduled. The payment deferral will extend the terms of your loan(s) and you will have to make extra payment(s) after your loan(s) would otherwise be paid off. If you elected GAP and/or MRC coverage, the coverage will not be extended beyond the original maturity date. Loans that are currently 30+ days delinquent will not be included in this loan deferment option.

MASTERCARD® CREDIT CARD OPTIONS2

DEFERMENT PROGRAM3

We are offering our valued cardholders the option to defer their May credit card payments.

ATTENTION CARDHOLDERS: April statements show a minimum payment due for May 2020. If you log on to GoToMyCard or call in to make a payment, you will be notified  that your minimum payment due is $0.00 for May. The deferment option is there to protect the cardholders who can’t make their payment. Therefore there is no negative impact to you financially or on your credit reporting. The minimum payments are still on the statements, but you are given the option to not make a payment during the deferment period. For things like COVID-19 or natural disasters, this just protects you in the event that you can’t or don’t make your payments.

SKIP-A-PAY PROGRAM4

Cardholders will also have the option to skip their June and July credit card payments.

There is no action required on your part. If you’d like to participate, simply do not make a payment on your Mastercard account during this time. Please note interest charges will continue to accrue at the normal rate.

These are additional relief options therefore, members that wish to make payments to their Mastercard account during this time, may do so.

2 Accounts must be on the system for a period of 3 or more months. Accounts set up with autopay will be excluded. Delinquent and over limit accounts will be excluded. Late fees will not be assessed due to the waived payment; however, if the account is carrying over a previous delinquent balance a fee will be assessed. 3 The minimum payment amount will NOT appear on the cardholder statement during the deferment offer. 4 The minimum payment amount will still appear on the cardholder statement when the skip-a-pay program is offered.

At Tendto, we are happy to talk things through. If you have any questions or would like to speak with a team member about our other COVID-19 financial assistance programs in place, please call us at 814.455.6400.
