WAS ERIE COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION SOLD OR HAS IT MERGED?

No, we have not been sold, have not merged, nor have we been acquired. We have updated our name, look and overall presentation of our brand. We remain the same credit union that Erie residents have relied on for generations.

WHY DID ERIE COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION REBRAND?

We are proud of our heritage and history as a community leader in Erie, but wanted to refresh our image to better reflect who we are today and who we plan to be tomorrow. We refreshed our brand without changing the core of who we are. We are proud to be here to tend to all of our members' financial needs. We are proud to be Tendto Credit Union.

WILL MY DEBIT CARDS AND CREDIT CARDS STILL WORK?

The answer is yes. All members were issued EMV chip debit cards in March reflecting the new brand. The new debit cards can now be activated.

As credit cards expire, we will issue new credit cards reflecting the new Tendto brand. If you want a new card before that, we will issue one at no charge.

WILL THE NEW BRAND CHANGE THE SERVICE I RECEIVE AT MY BRANCH?

You can continue to expect the same great service at your branch. In fact, it will only get better. We are taking this opportunity to step up our service and commitment level to you, our members.

WHAT ABOUT MY ACCOUNTS?

Your accounts and your account numbers will stay exactly the same. As part of the rebrand, we looked at what we do and asked "how can we better serve our members?" Members received notice about our new fee structure at the end of 2017 and those updated/reduced fees went into effect on 3/1.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHECKS?

You can continue to use the checks you have, they are still valid. When you reorder checks, your new checks will reflect the new brand.

WHERE WILL WE SEE THE NEW BRAND?

Our bright new look is being brought to life!

Branches: The interiors and exteriors of all branches are currently receiving makeovers. We can't wait for you to stop in and say hi later this spring - we'd love to show you around our new digs.

Please note, our West Branch lobby will soon be completely remodeled. Beginning on Monday, 5/21 the lobby will be closed as we start the renovation project. We anticipate the project lasting approximately eight weeks.

Website: Technology is continually evolving and we felt it was important to provide a fresh look that represents our new identity. The changes in design will make your online experience easier and help save time while on our site. If you have any questions about the new site or where to find something, please contact a Tendto team member.

Online Banking: Online Banking has already been refreshed with a new look! All functionalities and capabilities remain the same.

Mobile Apps: Our Apple and Android apps will soon be transformed. Everything that you've been accustomed to will stay the same. One new feature that we are excited to introduce is the ability to view eStatements right from the app. No need to worry, members will only need to update their app to see the new rebranded look!

Documents & Forms:  Tendto team members are working hard to update all member forms and documents with our new identity. In the meantime, any items that reference Erie Community Credit Union will work just fine.

HOW MUCH DID THE CREDIT UNION SPEND ON THIS?

Our decision to rename to the Tendto Credit Union brand was not made lightly. We had our members' best interests at heart. It took months to create an updated brand that really sums up who we are and what we stand for and how we are different from other credit unions and banks. This is a long-term investment to help grow the credit union into the future, better reflect who we are and, by extension, continue to find new ways to serve our members.
