Starting May 1, 2025, an important enhancement is coming to the CO-OP Shared Branch experience – IDCheck! This new technology is designed to make in-branch transactions faster and more secure.

Fraud is on the rise, and IDCheck ensures that only you can access your account. This innovative identity verification tool is designed to reduce fraud while making your transactions smoother and more efficient. By using IDCheck, you gain an extra layer of protection while enjoying a seamless experience at Shared Branch locations.
How It Works:
When visiting a Shared Branch, bring your smartphone and a government-issued ID to complete a simple verification process:

Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.

Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.

Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.

Upload a photo of your ID.

Take a selfie. Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!

Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
